About Us
The practice was established in 1986, originally running out of a small house on Manchester Road in Little Hulton. In 2013 we moved to Little Hulton Health Centre which is a premises dedicated to health care.
With the ongoing redevelopment of health services in Little Hulton, we will soon be moving to the new Health Centre next door. Our current practice size is just over 3000 patients and we have been steadily growing since Drs Cheema and Tandon took over the practice in 2016.
Accessibility
The building is wheelchair accessible with a ground floor disabled access toilet. We have a hearing loop at reception to assist the hearing impaired.
About the Practice
When the practice was established, our aims were simple:
- To be a fully trained and experienced team of clinicians and administrators.
- To provide a welcoming environment.
- To offer up to date medical services tailored to each individual with continuity of care.
- To cater for the needs of sections of the population experiencing a low level of care because of socio-economic deprivation and high levels of unemployment in the area. We endeavour to help with any real or perceived discrimination, particularly on the grounds of sexuality or HIV status. We are a Gold Standard rated practice for LGBTQ+ healthcare.
We are a training practice and committed to continuing medical education. We train medical students from Manchester University Medical School, Paramedics, Pharmacists and Physicians Associates.
